Terms of Service & Privacy Policy for an independent ecosystem.

Open Source AGPLv3 Licensed Self-Hosted Only

Why does this page exist?

This bot is not public. You cannot invite a centralized version of this bot to your server. It is entirely open-source and self-hosted, meaning individuals deploy and run their own independent instances. This documentation defines the rules of the core codebase and outlines how data is handled by default.

Terms of Service

By utilizing the source code of this bot, you agree to the following conditions:

1. Code Usage & Licensing

The source code for this bot is distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPLv3). You are free to modify, distribute, and run your own instances, provided that any modifications you make to the source code are also made publicly available under the same license.

2. Self-Hosting Liability

Because you host the bot yourself, the original developers of this project have zero control over your instance. The original developers are not liable for any damages, data loss, server outages, or Discord Terms of Service violations caused by your self-hosted instance.

3. Discord Integration

The bot is built strictly to operate within the Discord client. The application will never intentionally direct users away from Discord, except for providing essential external resources like this documentation page, the official GitHub repository, or licensing details.

4. Prohibited Activities & Abuse

You are strictly prohibited from utilizing this software, its source code, or its infrastructure to engage in malicious operations. Forbidden activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Server Destruction: Nuking, raiding, or intentionally sabotaging Discord servers.
  • Malicious Operations: Running scams, phishing campaigns, or financial fraud.
  • Malware Distribution: Hosting, spreading, or redirecting users to malware, spyware, or ransomware.
  • Surveillance & Intel: Utilizing the bot for unauthorized data collection, spying, reconnaissance, or harvesting sensitive personal information.
  • Platform Violation: Any behavior that breaches the Discord Developer Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

Privacy Policy

An explanation of how data flows through the native application architecture.

1. Data Storage & Hosting

The core development team does not host a database, central server, or cloud network to collect your information. All data processed by the bot (such as server IDs, user IDs, configuration settings, or logs) is stored locally on the machine or server chosen by the person hosting the instance.

2. No Third-Party Analytics

The codebase contains no tracking cookies, external telemetry software, or hidden telemetry that reports data back to the original developers or third-party advertisers. Your data stays within your instance.

3. Outbound Links

To preserve your privacy, the bot will never force or trick users into leaving the Discord ecosystem to third-party web domains, ensuring your interaction remains localized to Discord's secure platform environment unless you explicitly click a project link (like GitHub).
